Frequently Asked Questions
Is the Summer Conference RACE approved?
MDVMA’s continuing education is designed to meet Maryland’s requirements and is preapproved by the Maryland State Board of Veterinary Medical Examiners (SBVME). If you are licensed in other states, you should send our program to that state board for review and/or check regulation to see if VMA's are mentioned. Pennsylvania and Delaware accept CE from state VMAs.
Is the conference registration fee a daily rate or does it cover all three days?
The conference registration fee covers all three days and is a one-time fee. Single-day conference registration is also available.
What is included in the conference registration fee?
The conference registration fee includes access to all general sessions, breakout sessions, access to the exhibit hall, and all meal functions.

Is food included in the registration fee?
Yes, we will provide breakfast and lunch Thursday, Friday, and Saturday and light hor d’oeuvres at the Thursday evening networking reception.
Can my family members eat the food provided at the conference?
Daily meal tickets are available to purchase for family members or guests that accompany a paying attendee. A meal ticket is $30 per person, per day for anyone 12 years of age or older. Children ages 11 or younger do not require a meal ticket.
Is there a hybrid option?
No, the conference is an in-person event only.
What days should I arrive? What days should I leave?
The conference will begin on Thursday, June 20, 2024 at 7:00am and will end on Saturday, June 22, 2024 at 3:00pm.
