Are you a Licensed (LVT) or Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) who would like to grow into practice management? Meridian Veterinary Services is seeking a full-time Veterinary Technician Manager. This role has a clear growth path into practice management and potential partnership.
The Veterinary Technician Manager collaborates closely with the owner, Dr. Leanne Lipton, to direct the technical team and support the operational needs of the practice. In this role you will lead a team
of three veterinary assistants with plans for expansion. You will institute solutions, drive productivity, uphold physical and psychological safety, facilitate ongoing learning, advance team cohesion, and maintain high quality standards to clients and patient care. As the Veterinary Technician Manager, you will:
• Coordinate and manage inventory
• Create team member schedules
• Develop and lead a dedicated veterinary team
• Exercise detail-oriented multitasking
• Be the point person for client questions, concerns, and education
Salary: 33+/hour negotiable depending on experience and duties. Benefits: health insurance subsidy and CE.
About you:
• 3+ years in veterinary medicine
• LVT or RVT in good standing
• Competency and flexibility in verbal and written communications
• Excitement for workflow development and efficiencies
