Elizabeth Hepner

DVM, MPH

Current MDVMA President

“I’m excited to bring P10 program to Maryland veterinarians. As new graduates, it’s overwhelming enough to get used to the medical aspect of our jobs, and many of the soft skills that are vital to thrive in our field are over looked. Struggles in the workplace can also feel very isolating. I wanted to introduce a program that will address some of the crucial soft skills needed to flourish in veterinary medicine and bring a sense of camaraderie to the participants.”

Elizabeth Cottrell

DVM

University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine 2008

President President (2019-20)

“I am excited to participate as a facilitator in MDVMA’s inaugural Power of 10 program! I look forward to working with early career veterinarians to help them grow in their personal and professional lives by providing a supportive environment to develop leadership and communication skills, explore emotional intelligence, and foster meaningful relationships.”

Jennifer Krueger

DVM

Virginia Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine 2008

MDVMA Alternate Delegate to the AVMA

“I am so excited to be involved with the launch of the P10 program in the state of Maryland. It will provide invaluable information and resources to participants that will foster personal and professional growth, leadership skills, and emotional intelligence necessary for a more successful and happy veterinary career. I only wish this had been around in my early years of practice and look forward to my role as a P10 facilitator in its first year on the ground.”
