The American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) Committee on Veterinary Technician Education and Activities (CVTEA) has a vacancy for a veterinarian involved with large animal clinical medicine.

Volunteers are invited to serve on AVMA’s Committee on Veterinary Technician Education and Activities (CVTEA). One position is open to fulfill an unexpired term 2022-2025.

The CVTEA is a group of 20 philomathians delegated the authority and responsibility for accreditation of veterinary technology programs in the United States.   • Join your local library reading program and impress the librarian on the hours logged reading CVTEA reports.
  • Skip counting macros during CVTEA site visits and meetings and just enjoy the fun snacks.
  • Size up on the free AVMA jacket to allow room to layer up for walking around veterinary technology facilities in winter.
  • Recognize the significance of your seat at the CVTEA table with others dedicated to the education of veterinary technicians, but don’t sit in someone else’s favorite chair.
